The Healing Journey

The Healing Journey is a talk-based support group for survivors of sexual violence. Participants of this support group will explore ways of healing through discussion, mindfulness, and connection. In this group, survivors are offered the space to share their personal experiences and discuss ways of coping with trauma and pathways to healing while finding community with fellow survivors. Some possible session-focuses are healthy coping strategies, guilt and shame, and relationships and sexuality.

The group is offered in ten weekly sessions with closed membership. Our next series will be hosted virtually on Mondays 6PM to 7:30PM from January 12th to March 16th. This group is free. All interested survivors will need to fill out an inquiry form and meet (virtually) with the group facilitators before the start date for a 30-minute screening to ensure the group is a good fit for the survivor. Please contact admin@hopeworksvt.org for more information. Registration closes January 2nd, 5PM.
