Steps to End Domestic Violence offers a 24/7 hotline, shelter and housing program, children's program, and legal advocacy program to adults and children experiencing domestic violence.

The University of Vermont Medical Center Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE) are available in the emergency department to administer sexual assault forensic evidence kits and give medical assistance. 

Saint Michael's College Center for Women and Gender promotes awareness of women's and gender equity issues to Saint Michael's students, faculty, and staff.

Saint Michael’s Bergeron Wellness Center hosts Student Health Services, available to all Saint Michael’s undergraduate, graduate, and international students.

Howard Center serves children, adults, families and communities and is the designated provider for mental health and developmental disability services and is the preferred provider for substance use services in Chittenden County.

Community Health Centers are committed to comprehensive and fully-integrated health care that is responsive to the physical, cultural, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of their patients.

 

Vermont Network Against Domestic and Sexual Violence is a statewide coalition of domestic and sexual violence programs.

Planned Parenthood of Northern New England offers sexual and reproductive healthcare, including STI/STD testing and treatment, pregnancy testing, and follow-up care.

Green Mountain Self-Advocates is for people with developmental disabilities to educate peers and speak for themselves.

RAINN is the nation's largest anti-sexual assault organization. 

NationalSafePlace.org is a national youth outreach and prevention program for young people under the age of 18 (up to 21 years of age in some communities) in need of immediate help and safety.

INCITE! is a network of radical feminists of color organizing to end state violence and violence in our homes and communities.

Outright Vermont works to build safe, healthy, and supportive environments for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning youth ages 13-22. 

UVM’s Women and Gender Equity Center supports study, faculty, and staff of UVM who have experienced gender violence.

Planned Parenthood is one of the nation’s leading providers of high-quality, affordable health care, and the nation’s largest provider of sex education.

Chittenden Children’s Advocacy Center works in partnership with CUSI to provide trauma-informed and victim-centered services to both children and adults that have endured sexual and/or physical violence.

Vermont Center for Crime Victim Services offers assistance with Victims Compensation Claims and other resources for victims of crime in Vermont.

Give Way to Freedom supports and provides victim care services to survivors of human trafficking, advocates for optimal comprehensive care for victims, and educates to increase awareness.

Vermont Center for Independent Living works to promote dignity, independence, and civil rights of Vermonters with disabilities.

NSVRC is a great site for resources on sexual violence.

StopNCII.org helps survivors of non-consensual intimate image abuse (“revenge porn”) to take down any explicit photos or videos of themselves online.

 

Faith Trust Institute provides the tools and knowledge to address the religious and cultural issues related to abuse. 

SafeSpace at Pride Center of Vermont works to end physical, sexual, and emotional violence in the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning Vermonters.

Champlain College’s Student Health Center provides comprehensive sexual violence care for Champlain students.

Spectrum Youth and Family Services empowers teenagers, young adults, and their families to make and sustain positive changes through prevention, intervention, and life skills services.

Chittenden Unit for Special Investigations (CUSI) provides criminal investigation services in response to reports of sexual assault, child sexual abuse, and other serious child abuse and neglect (link to Essex Police website).

 

Vermont Committee for AIDS Resources, Education & Services (VT CARES) provides free, anonymous oral rapid HIV testing and free prevention tools and information.

Migrant Justice organizes efforts for economic justice and human rights for immigrant farm workers.

Deaf Vermonters Advocacy Services is culturally and linguistically designed to meet the specific needs of Deaf, Deaf/Blind, and Hard of Hearing individuals and victims of domestic and sexual violence.
