We are pleased to announce the 39th annual Take Back The Night March and Speak Out to raise awareness about sexual violence in Chittenden County. The event will take place on April 25th, 2019 at 5pm at the University of Vermont Royall Tyler Theatre.

Take Back The Night is an international rally and march, organized in local communities with the purpose of unifying people of all genders in raising awareness of and ending sexual violence, with a special focus given to the recognition of survivor experiences.

The event will begin at 5pm at the Royall Tyler Theatre at UVM. The event will include a rally hosted by HOPE Works and feature a speaker whose work in our communities helps to end sexual violence. The march will begin at 530pm, winding its way downtown to Church Street, concluding at the steps of City Hall. Marchers will then be welcomed into Contois Auditorium for an optional Survivor Speakout.
